Over the span of his career, he has worked on many publications, including Boating Industry and Waterway Guides, Library Journal, School Library Journal, Variety, Modern Bride, American Baby and others.

In 2010, Bryerman was named publisher and VP of Publishers Weekly and has championed the magazine’s digital expansion and growth of its consumer audience. Under Bryerman’s leadership, the website alone has grown more than tenfold to 8.5 million unique visitors in the last year.

Publishers Weekly is the international news platform of book publishing and bookselling. Founded in 1872, the weekly magazine boasts more than 500,000 Twitter followers and 60,000+ Facebook “likes”; publishes nine e-newsletters; two blogs; a mobile edition, digital editions and apps; and features a website that reached more than 8.5 million unique visitors in the last year. Publishers Weekly reviews nearly 9,000 books annually, as well as e-books, apps and audiobooks, in addition to featuring author interviews and news and analysis about the world of publishing.
