Website Magazine posted a fun article about content marketing with a link to a great infographic from the UK’s Content+ and we just had to share!

Content marketing is basically the “stuff” we put on our websites to make us (and our work) interesting to readers. Or, as Content+ puts it: “Just as the heart powers the body, content powers online marketing success. Quality content in the form of blogs, social media posts, search-optimized articles and so on is a driving factor in attracting new customers…”

The anatomy of content marketing - the heart of online success

According to Matt Goulart, founder of Webstar Content, “The most successful content marketing campaigns involve several of these forms, all working together in tandem to communicate a consistent message to your audience… Well-written, thoughtful and well-placed content is essential to the success of your content marketing campaign.”

Thoughtful and well-written — sounds like a natural to an author, doesn’t it?!

I am the self-published author of a thriller called “Dreaming of America,” The Talking Animals, and Magic. I have also recently signed a contract for my creative memoir, “The Apple Tree Blossoms in the Fall.” I would very much like to make my name known among the readers. I do have a website, a twitter page and a facebook page. I am very much interested to learn more about how to market myself.
    Thanks,
