The WWW team is excited to announce the launch of our new interactive calendar in the Winner Circle! Our cool new calendar, full of upcoming book festivals, writers conferences and retreats and writing competitions, offers several really fun features we just know you’re going to love as much as we do. Our goal is to “shrink” the world wide web down to the author events you need to know about, when you need to know about them… Here’s a look and we’ll see you in the Winner Circle!

At the top left of the calendar you can click to choose whether you want to view Book Festivals, Writers Conferences, Writing Competitions or any combination of the three.

Next to that, choose your preferred view, whether by day, week, month, or a list of all the events. You can also search for an event, and expand your calendar view to the width of the entire page.

As a member of the Winner Circle you can also subscribe to our calendar and new events will automatically download to your iCal or Outlook calendar so you’ll always be up-to-date on upcoming writer events!

When you click on any event title listed on the calendar, you’ll get an expanded view with options to link to the event, read more, add to your own calendar, or share on Facebook, Linked In, Twitter or Google+…

Clicking “Read more” on an event brings you to an expanded view that lets you leave comments about the event, see any photos our team may include, and even view map locations if applicable.
