Map-of-book-clubsOne of the principle reasons we launched the Winner Circle was to provide authors with a cool, vetted list of live book clubs around the country. Our interactive map lets an author click a dot on a state and see the clubs we’ve listed in that state, and we’re happy to report we’re at nearly 150 clubs now and growing each week!

Authors have already booked appearances with clubs we’ve listed and more clubs are agreeing to be included as a resource and provide their information to our Winner Circle members.

Taking it from the other side, as an author you need to be on a list that book clubs can find, too!

Our friends at Galley Cat have introduced a new list of authors who will visit book clubs. While this depends on the book club finding the list and choosing you, it does pay to list yourself (and it’s free) as a way to be discovered by live book clubs around the nation.

1,500 authors have listed themselves already – are you one of them? To get listed, fill out their free and simple form and the good folks at GalleyCat will add you to their directory of writers who will travel, host Skype visits or accept telephone chats with book clubs.

Want to spice up your own book club?

Explore GalleyCat’s Authors Who Visit Book Clubs directory and invite a nearby author to visit your group. You can also download the directory as an Excel spreadsheet to explore the genres, websites and contact info for more than 1,500 writers around the world.

Email us at info@writerswin.com and tell us about the genres you accept, how many club members you have and how to contact you and we’ll add you to our map — or simply fill in the easy survey info below!

Create your free online surveys with SurveyMonkey , the world’s leading questionnaire tool.

Tell us how you’re connecting with book clubs!
