Day one of the Writer’s Digest conference in New York City and love the energy of the attendees and sponsors. An interesting mix of emerging authors: predominantly YA and sci-fi, but have been thrilled to meet a few literary fiction writers as well. Sprinkled in between are every genre from suspense to children’s and middle grade fiction.
