There’s just something about turning the clocks back for daylight savings time that leads some of us (well, me) to believe we’ve picked up just hours and hours of free time, instead of a single extra hour’s sleep. We get ambitious in that spring-cleaning sort of way, and before you know it, we up and decide it’s time for a website change.
Why? Well, when we launched 18 months ago, we needed everything on the site to scream “WRITER!” — and it did… Ink pots and pens and ink splatters and…
But now, with so much content on the site and so many choices, between our services and our hundreds of blog posts and our Winner Circle, we want you to have a cleaner, more user-friendly experience; time to lose the background clutter. Time for a new look…
So for today, no lessons, no advice, no wisdom – just a look at our “new look” –
We sincerely hope it makes your experience at WWW even easier and more useful! And as always, appreciate your input and comments. Write on…
Creator of Where Writers Win, Shari Stauch has been involved in publishing, marketing and PR for 30 years. She is also the principal author of the WWW blog, and speaks at conferences around the country. The Where Writers Win teamβs newest collaboration is The Winner Circle β vetted book review directories, book clubs and other cultivated resources for emerging authors.
Congratulations, Shari. I, too, like the new look!
Thanks, Mary – that means a lot!
Naturally I like your new white background – that’s what I use for my website. Your WWW logo reminds me that when I was an Internet novice, our youngest daughter was highly amused when I called the Internet the “W,” ” W,” “W.”
Too funny! Thanks for the kind comments and have you seen The Intern movie? There’s a classic scene in there about on the line vs. online – sort of a who’s on first… Yes, we are digital immigrants compared to our digital native offspring π
Shari, I have watched the YouTube official trailer of The Internship. My husband and I need to see the movie.
LOVE it! Congratulations π
Thank you! Still a work in progress, but isn’t everything?!
