Let’s take a closer look and see if Neatly.io is a tool that can benefit your own author marketing intel!
What Neatly Does
Neatly allows you to view a wide range of data about your authorpreneurship under one roof. You can create dashboards with tiles of info from your favorite sites (see a few of ours above). You can also view detailed info for any of the sites you “integrate” (which simply means to approve adding each account to your Neatly).
The Google Analytics view alone is useful. But with 45+ integrations (and more being added soon) all of your most important data can be under one roof, from Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, to Google Analytics and your Mailchimp or Constant Contact account, to even your favorite shopping cart options such as Paypal or WooCommerce.
The good folks at Neatly.io told us today that Pinterest is also in the works and should be accessible in a couple weeks (Instagram is already available.)
The membership includes ten integrations. We used ours (so far) for Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Paypal and YouTube, and are eagerly awaiting Pinterest.
And maybe the folks at Neatly will grant our wishes to be able to add our Goodreads and Amazon Author Central accounts soon, too. Stay tuned…
We were also surprised and pleased to learn how easy it was to set up our Neatly dashboard. You can simply click on each of the icons of the accounts you want to add, and it will verify them for you. Then you can build your dashboard, guided through adding the “tiles” you want to view.
It took us less than ten minutes to add our favorite accounts, and another five minutes to set up our first dashboard.
In addition, all the accounts you added are shown as little icons along the left hand side of your dashboard (see our dashboard above). Clicking on any of them (especially useful for Google Analytics) lets you view lots more info from just that account.
Use Neatly to:
If you’re a WWW client or have been following our posts for any length of time, you already know how important knowing all this “data stuff” can be to your author marketing strategy. Having a real-time snapshot to start off each day quickly lets us know if/how our numbers are growing, and how our ongoing marketing efforts are panning out in terms of growing interest and engagement.
True, the ultimate measurement will be your own book sales, but building interest and buzz is what brings sales; having a tool to quickly monitor those efforts is a great timesaver.
- Create Custom dashboards– Neatly doesn’t tell you how to view your data, you decide what’s important and structure it according to what benefits you!
- Collaborate with your team– Share your Neatly dashboard with your publisher or publicist. You can even export branded reports.
- Get 24/7 real-time updates– No daily refreshes. Neatly refreshes each time you login whether you’re on desktop or your mobile device.
Neatly has a free trial offer, too, so head over right away Neatly.
Let us know if you give Neatly a try and tell us what you think!
